Power Integrations to Showcase its Innovative PowiGaN Technology at PCIM Europe 2023

Power Integrations (PI), a leading innovator in semiconductor technologies for high-voltage power conversion, is set to showcase its latest technologies at the PCIM Europe 2023 event in Nuremberg. The event, which runs from May 9-11, will feature technical experts from PI who will demonstrate insight into their newest innovation in AC-DC conversion, gate drivers, motor drivers, and automotive solutions that offer the highest level of integration and efficiency including the PowiGaN technology

Attendees will have the opportunity to visit PI at Hall 9, Booth 325, where they can learn about the applications that can benefit from the increased efficiency and power density realized by PowiGaN technology. Additionally, attendees can attend the E-Mobility & Energy Storage Stage, where Peter Vaughan, Director of Automotive Business Development, will share the benefits of applying GaN to micro DC-DC converters in electric vehicles.

As auto manufacturers continue to refine electric vehicle architectures, the number of low-power high-voltage to low-voltage DC-DC converters is increasing. The data presented by PI will show how replacing silicon with GaN can significantly increase the effective power range that the flyback topology can address while still meeting automotive thermal challenges.

PI's featured products at the event include PowiGaN, InnoSwitch4-CZ + ClampZero Chipset, InnoSwitch4-Pro, InnoSwitch3-CP, HiperPFS-5, MinE-CAP, LinkSwitch-TN2, and LinkSwitch-TNZ to name a few.

Additionally, PI's high-voltage gate driver solutions will be demonstrated at partner booths, including Hitachi Energy Semiconductors - Hall 9 Booth 321, Jianghai Europe Electronic Components - Hall 9 Booth 304, and Future Electronics - Hall 7 Booth 451.

The PCIM Europe 2023 event promises to be an exciting opportunity for industry professionals to learn about the latest innovations in power electronics, and PI's participation is set to play a significant role in the event.
