Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation has launched four motor driver ICs "TB67S569FTG, TB67S589FTG, TB67S589FNG, and TB67H481FTG” for consumer and industrial equipment and has expanded its lineup.
TB67S569FTG, TB67S589FTG, and TB67H481FTG use a small VQFN32 package that saves space on circuit boards.
These three products need an external resistor to detect the output current. The current of the motor can be detected by monitoring the voltage generated in the external resistor.
TB67S589FNG uses an HTSSOP28 package that allows easy wiring on circuit boards. This product has a built-in circuit for output current detection and eliminates the need for an external resistor. Thereby, the number of external components can be reduced.
Toshiba will continue to develop products for a wide range of applications and contribute to user design simplification, board area reduction, and total cost reduction, providing total solutions.
