AiT Semiconductor Introduces AC-DC LED Driver for Lighting Applications

AiT Semiconductor introduces AC input LED constant current driver. The A9912 is a high-voltage buck control IC for constant LED current regulation. The A9912 operates in constant off-time mode. It allows efficient operation of High Brightness (HB) LEDs from voltage sources ranging from 8 VDC up to 450 VDC or 110 VAC/220 VAC.

The A9912 includes a PWM dimming input that can accept an external control signal with a duty ratio of 0~100% and a frequency of up to a few kilohertz, and the dimming also accepts a 0~1.2 V linear input signal. The RNTC pin can accept a 0~250 mV Line Dimming input which can be used for temperature compensation of the LED current.

The A9912 is available in SOP8 package.
