KYOCERA AVX, a leading international supplier of electronic passive components and interconnect solutions, has introduced TAJ series of standard Tantalum capacitors. These are designed for general-purpose applications and have low profile with standard casing.

These TAJ series have capacitance values ranging from 0.10 to 2200 µF with a capacitance tolerance of ±10% and ±20%. They have a voltage rating of up to 50 V and operate over a temperature range from -55°C to +125°C.

The Tantalum capacitors are 100% surge tested and offer a reliability performance within 1% per 1000 hours at 85°C and a confidence level of 60%. They come in surface-mount packages with seventeen available case sizes. The capacitors measure from 1.00 mm (0.039″) to 2.00 mm (0.079″) in height and support case sizes of 2312, 1206, 0805, 1210, and 2917.

These design features make them suitable for use in general low-power DC/DC and LDO voltage regulators, entertainment and infotainment systems, and height-restricted design applications.

Furthermore, these capacitors are RoHS-compliant and come in lead-free packages for maximum performance.
