Richtek has introduced its latest breakthrough in power management technology with the launch of the RT5713/RT5714, a revolutionary tiny buck converter boasting a mere 360nA quiescent current. This innovative solution is designed to cater to the burgeoning demands of handheld devices, portable information systems, battery-powered equipment, wearables, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and smartwatches.

The RT5713/RT5714 stands out with its remarkable features, including an input voltage range spanning from 2.2V to 5.5V, ensuring compatibility with a wide array of power sources. It offers two levels of output voltages, which can be conveniently programmed through the voltage select pin VSEL, while delivering output currents of up to 0.5A and 1A respectively.

Leveraging Hysteretic Constant-On-Time (HCOT) operation with internal compensation, this buck converter guarantees optimized transient response across a broad range of loads and output capacitors, ensuring seamless performance even under varying conditions.

Compact and efficient, the RT5713/RT5714 is housed in a space-saving WL-CSP-6B 1.415x0.885 (BSC) and WDFN-6L 2x2 package, ideal for designs where size and power efficiency are paramount.
