The HL7132DWL01 from Halo Microelectronics is a Dual-Phase Charge Pump Charger that has been designed to enable 1-cell Li-ion and Li-polymer batteries. It requires an input voltage of 5.5 - 11.7 V and provides an output voltage of up to 5.5 V. This battery management IC (BMIC) integrates a regulation loop for charging operation through QRB FET control in 2:1 charge pump (CP) mode. It offers a dual-phase switched capacitor architecture that is optimized for a duty cycle of 50% for both 2:1 and 1:2 modes. This BMIC has a selectable switching frequency from 500 kHz to 1.6 MHz. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 2.95 x 2.6 mm.
