The APSX4048SW from Tripp Lite is a Pure Sine Wave DC-AC Inverter/Charger that converts a DC input voltage of 48 V to an AC output voltage of 220-240 V. It delivers an output power of 4 kW (continuous) and 8 kW (peak). This inverter is a reliable power source for a wide variety of tools and sensitive electronics at mobile, emergency, and remote sites. It does not release fumes, fuels, or excess noise at the output ports, making it a reliable alternative to generator power. This inverter/charger operates either in single-phase or three-phase mode for high-capacity industrial and commercial installations. It includes an automatic line-to-battery switch and a charging system that allows the unit to work as an extended-run UPS, standalone AC power source, or vehicle inverter.

This RoHS-compliant inverter/charger also integrates an automatic over-load detector, cooling fan, and resettable AC circuit breakers to protect the unit from damage. It keeps the user-supplied batteries charged via a three-stage 1-70 A selectable charging system when hardwired to an external AC source, while simultaneously delivering AC power to the connected equipment. This DC-AC inverter supports external ports that can connect to an optional battery temperature sensor for monitoring and has an LCD on the front panel with easy-to-use buttons for operation configuration. It is available in a rugged steel-enclosed module that measures 9 x 7.25 x 22.5 inches.
