The ISL75051ASEH from Renesas is a Radiation-Hardened Programmable LDO Regulator that is ideal for LDO regulators for space power systems, DSP/FPGA/microprocessor core power supplies, post-regulation of SMPS, and down-hole drilling applications. It requires an input voltage of 2.2 - 6 V. This LDO provides an output voltage of 0.8 - 5 V (adjustable) and has a dropout voltage of 65 mV. It is engineered for outstanding transient response and does not require additional protection diodes or filters, thus saving space and delivering superior performance in a compact package. This LDO offers ENABLE feature, which allows the component to enter a low-current shutdown mode and draw a current of 10 µA. It includes a soft-start function that enables the user to control the inrush current by adjusting the value of the decoupling capacitor located on the BYP pin. This LDO offers stability with tantalum capacitors with capacitances as low as 47 µF, ensuring excellent regulation from no load to full load. This RoHS-compliant regulator also has best-in-class temperature protection and programmable over-current protection (OCP) limits for safe operation. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 12.090 x 10.084 mm.
