The BD63007MUV from ROHM Semiconductor is a Three-Phase Brushless Motor Driver. It requires an input voltage from -0.3 V to +33 V and provides an output current of less than 5 A. This motor driver generates a driving signal from the Hall sensor and drives PWM through the input control signal. It has a low ON resistance DMOS output. This motor driver includes a built-in 120° commutation logic circuit and a built-in power-saving circuit. It has a CW/CCW (clockwise/counterclockwise) function that enable rotation in both directions, while the short brake function enables the stopping of the motor rotation.
This motor driver IC consists of a built-in protection circuit for current limiting (CL), thermal shutdown (TSD), over-current protection (OCP), under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-voltage lockout (OVLO), and motor-lock protection (MLP) functions. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 6 x 6 x 1 mm and is ideal for operator interface (OA) machines and other consumer applications.
