The EV011KL from MTA Advanced Automotive Solutions is an On-Board Battery Charger that has been designed to be flexible and compatible with all types of international power grid infrastructures. It requires an input voltage (AC) of up to 1000 V (single-phase or three-phase). This charger delivers an output power of 11 kW and has an efficiency of over 90%. It galvanically converts single and three-phase AC input voltage levels with high efficiency and reliability, and assures a definitive safety separation between the vehicle and grid. This battery charger supports HVDC inter-lock monitoring functions and can be remotely controlled using CAN (v2.0B) interfaces. It integrates supercapacitors that can charge from zero voltage level.

This on-board charger complies with SAE J1772 and EN61851 safety test standards and provides an option to also comply with SAE J1939. It includes built-in short-circuit protection (SCP) and reverse polarity protection circuitries that protect the output port from damage. This IEEE 1547-compliant charger is available in an IP-rated module and is ideal for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and pure electric vehicle applications.
