The TPSMB2412CA from Littelfuse is an Automotive-Grade Asymmetric TVS Diode designed for reverse battery protection. It has a reverse standoff voltage of 24 V on the high side and 12 V on the low side. This TVS diode features a breakdown voltage range of 29.4 V (K to A) and 14.7 V (A to K), delivering strong clamping performance with maximum clamping voltages of 38.9 V and 19.9 V, respectively. This AEC-Q101 supports peak pulse currents of up to 15.5 A (K to A) and 30.2 A (A to K), enabling robust suppression of high-energy transients. It has a peak pulse power capability of 600 W, and a fast response time under 1 ns. This RoHS-compliant TVS diode is available in a surface-mount package that measures 4.57 x 3.94 x 2.44 mm and is ideal for domain controllers, zonal controllers, infotainment, and car lighting applications.
