The ZXCT180QA1W5-7 from Diodes Incorporated is an Automotive-Qualified Unidirectional Current Shunt Monitor IC that has been designed to offer a cost-effective solution to resolve 26 V common-mode noise and accurately measure the voltage. It requires an input voltage of 2.7-5.5 V. This AEC-Q100 Grade 1-qualified monitoring IC supports small signal bandwidths as high as 400 kHz and fast large-signal slew rates of 2 V/µs, enabling it to detect rapid changes in the sensed current and fast response to the output. It produces an output voltage that is proportional to the load current and based on the OUT pin configurations, the IC enables PINOUT A and B, which provide users the flexibility to choose a proper pin for PCB layout.
This PPAP-capable IC has 4 fixed voltage gain options - 20 V/V, 50 V/V, 100 V/V, and 200 V/V. It also supports features such as rail-to-rail output capability, low quiescent current of less than 370 µA, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. This RoHS-compliant monitor IC is available in a surface-mount package that measures 2.7 x 2.9 mm and is ideal for fault current detection, battery charging and discharging, vehicle valve/motor/body/lighting controls, and wireless charging applications.
