The TP44100NM from Tagore Technology is a GaN HEMT PMIC that is suitable for high-frequency LLC converters, mobile chargers, laptop adapters, LED and motor drives, server power supplies, and AC-DC converters, DC-DC converters, DC-AC converters, and PFC applications. This PMIC monolithically integrates a driver circuit to minimize the inductance in the gate loop, thereby enabling safe and clean switching even at high-voltage and high-frequency operations. It externally connects a resistance between Vreg and RG to control the drain voltage slew rate and achieve the best EMI performance. The PMIC consists of UVLO protection to turn off the HEMT to prevent false operation and a dv/dt protection circuitry to protect it from drain-dv/dt induced false induced turn-on events even in the absence of drain supply.
This RoHS-compliant PMIC is available in a surface-mount package that measures 5 x 7 x 0.85 mm.
