The K1300SD1 from JieJie Microelectronics is a Sidac that is ideal for high-voltage lamp ignitors, natural gas ignitors, gas oil ignitors, high-voltage power supplies, xenon ignitors, over-voltage protectors, pulse generators, and fluorescent lighting ignitors HID lighting ignitors applications.  It has a break-over voltage of less than 138 V and a break-over current of 50 μA. This sidac is designed to function as a silicon bilateral voltage-triggered switch that provides excellent power-handling capabilities compared to standard diacs. It enters the negative resistance region to a low on-state voltage and reduces the current below the minimum holding current upon reaching the break-over voltage point. This sidac can easily absorb transient voltage surges in a circuit and provides a nanosecond-level quick response. It includes glass passivated junctions and is available in a surface-mount package that measures 3.45 x 1.60 x 0.95 mm.
