The ACT108W-600D from WeEN Semiconductors is a Triac that is ideal for fan motor circuits, pump motor circuits, low-power, highly inductive, resistive, and safety load applications. It has a break-over voltage of 600 V and a break-over current of less than 8.8 A. This thyristor has a gate trigger voltage of over 0.15 V and a gate trigger current of less than 5 mA. It features exclusive negative gate triggering and full-cycle AC conduction that ensures efficient performance under diverse conditions. This triac offers a remote gate feature that isolates the gate driver from load current effects, offering stability and longevity. It includes safe clamping of low-energy, over-voltage transients, and self-protective turn-on functionality during high-energy voltage spikes. This RoHS-compliant triac is available in a surface-mount package that measures 3.7 x 6.7 x 1.8 mm.
