The WLC1115-68LQXQT from Infineon Technologies is a 15 W Wireless Charging Transmitter IC that supports WPC Qi and other proprietary specifications. This transmitter IC has an input voltage of 4.5-24 V. It is based on a highly programmable and integrated USB-PD link solution that supports both the latest USB-PD 3.0 version and USB-PD legacy charging protocols such as the QC 2.0/3.0 and AFC. This WLC1115-68LQXQT is designed using a 32-bit ARM CorteM0 processor and integrates gate drivers, buck converter controller, Q-factor detector, and FSK modulator. It supports various analog and digital peripherals such as ADC, PWMs, and timers and communication interfaces that include I2C and UART.

This RoHS-compliant wireless transmitter provides over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), and over-temperature protection circuitries to prevent short-circuit-related damages. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 8.0 x 8.0 x 0.65 mm and is ideal for smart speakers, docking stations, portable accessories, furniture, and home goods, wireless charging pads for extended power profile (EPP) (15 W), and basic power profile (BPP) (5 W), and high-speed charging applications.
