What is a Flyback Converter?

Flyback Converter is a type of Isolated DC-DC Converter that can be used in both step-up and step-down configurations. It consists of a transformer, switch, rectifier, filter, and control circuitry to provide regulated DC output. This transformer helps to isolate and steps down or up the output voltage by adjusting the turns ratio.
