What are Metal Composite Inductors?

Metal composite inductor is a type of power inductor that consist of coils integrally molded with magnetic powder. The magnetic powder forms the magnetic core of the inductor and is made up of Fe-based metal composite powdered materials such as Fe-Si-Cr or amorphous.
