Chroma's 62000P Programmable DC Power Supply provides design and test engineers advantages not found in typical supplies including the ability to create complex DC transient waveforms. It allows the user to program complex DC transient waveforms to test device behavior to spikes, drops, and other voltage deviations. This allows the simulation of a wide range of automotive, shipboard, aero, and defense profiles which makes them ideal for testing to these rigorous standards.

With its constant power operation and measurement read back, a single DC supply can provide both high voltage low current and low-voltage high current. This eliminates multiple power supplies and external shunts, saving cost and space within typical ATV systems. The 62000P satisfies the most demanding requirements with 12 different models ranging from 600 to 5000 W, up to 120 A, and up to 600 V.
