How to Reduce Audible Noise in Motor Drive Designs Using GaN Transistors and Ics

In this short video demonstration, we test a motor drive operating from a 48 V DC supply voltage delivering up to 3.7 ARMS into each phase of the motor. This drive features a gallium nitride (GaN) ePower™ Stage, EPC2152, that can operate from 20 kHz through 1 MHz switching frequency.
