Power Added Efficiency Calculator

The Power-added efficiency (PAE) of an amplifier is a metric for rating the efficiency of a power amplifier that takes into account the effect of the gain of the amplifier. This calculator is made to calculate the power added efficiency of an amplifier.

Power-added efficiency (PAE) is a metric for evaluating a power amplifier's efficiency that takes the amplifier's gain into account. PAE will be pretty comparable to efficiency when the amplifier's gain is high enough. The amount of power needed to drive the amplifier's input should be taken into account when calculating the amplifier's efficiency, but, if the amplifier gain is relatively low. We are aware that the RF amplifier's effectiveness will influence how much power is lost as heat. Furthermore, using three input, output, and DC power values, this tool is designed to calculate the power-added efficiency.
