Electric Vehicle Control Unit is used to manage the electric vehicle operations. It monitors and manages the EV battery's health, temperature, charge level, and overall performance. EV ECUs also ensure safe charging and discharging, protecting the battery from overcharging or overheating. It controls the electric motor's speed and torque based on driver input and system requirements and converts direct current (DC) from the battery into alternating current (AC) for the motor. EV ECUs handle functions like autonomous driving, collision avoidance, and lane-keeping and processes data from cameras, radar, and other sensors.
