The TLF35585QVS02 from Infineon Technologies is an Automotive-Qualified Power Management IC that is ideal for battery management, electric power steering, engine management, traction inverter, and domain control applications. It requires an input voltage of 3-40 V. This AEC-Q100 Grade 0-qualified power management IC (PMIC) has been designed to provide functional safety to systems in automotive electronics. It includes a boost-buck pre-regulator that provides post-regulator rails for the microcontroller and communication supply and for generating 5 V (±1%) precise voltage reference to supply A/D converter supply. This PMIC also has 2 additional voltage trackers to provide power to off-board sensors. It integrates a configurable window watchdog along with error pin and voltage monitoring functions for major supervision of the IC to prevent potential hazards.
This RoHS-compliant IC is also provided with a 16-bit SPI interface supporting interrupt and reset operations to communicate with an external microcontroller. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 7 x 7 mm.
