The SI-8050JD from Sanken Electric is a Buck Converter IC that is ideal for audio visual equipments, office automation equipments (e.g. printers), and on-board power supply applications. It requires an input voltage of 5.5 - 40 V and provides an output current of up to 1.5 A. This converter IC consists of a latch and driver, error amplifier, protection circuits, oscillator, ON/OFF functions, resistors, and voltage reference.
