RECOM Power, a manufacturer of AC/DC electronic power supplies and DC/DC converters, has introduced R05C05TE05S, a low- cost, low-profile, 0.5 W SMD isolated DC/DC single output converter. It requires 4.5-5.5 V input range and provides a semi-regulated 5 V output. This converter will be able to deliver 600 mW of power for applications requiring additional power for short peak operation modes.
Standard isolation is 3 kVDC/1 min, and the operating temperature is from -40°C up to +125°C with derating. The fully-automated design which is equipped with short-circuit, over-current, and over-temperature protection ensures the highest reliability in applications such as communication, current sensing, and COM port isolation.
