COSEL has developed its MU series as the next generation DC-DC converter to the existing SU/SUC series and has now further expanded the series to include the 6 and 10 W models. The MU Series now has 1.5, 3, 6, and 10 W versions in single and dual +/- output. The MU series offers increased performance and higher efficiency to meet the demands of discriminating engineers.
Product Enhancements
- Low-profile and Compact Footprint: The converters feature a low-profile design with a height of 8.5 mm. Compared to the existing SUC series, the 6 W model has a 33% smaller footprint, while the 10 W model is 53% smaller, thanks to improved efficiency.
- Wide Operating Ambient Temperature Range: These converters can operate in a broad temperature range from -40°C to 95°C, making them suitable for various environmental conditions.
- Multiple Input Voltage Ranges: The converters support four types of input voltage ranges:
- 5 VDC input: 4.5 V to 9 V
- 12 VDC input: 9 V to 18 V
- 24 VDC input: 18 V to 36 V
- 48 VDC input: 36 V to 76 V
- Various Output Voltage Options: Available output voltages include 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, ±12 V, and ±15 V, providing flexibility for different application needs.
- Mounting Options: Users can choose between Surface-Mount Device (SMD) and Through-Hole mounting types, depending on their specific requirements.
- Compliance with Safety Standards and CE Marking: The converters meet international safety standards, including UL62368-1 (USA), C-UL (Canada), and EN62368-1 (Europe). They also carry the CE Marking, complying with the Low Voltage Directive and RoHS regulations.
