Vicor, the leader in high-performance power modules, will present at Automotive Innovation Day 2025 (AID) in Seoul on July 2, underscoring the innovative possibilities when using power modules in EV power delivery networks.
Vicor will introduce the benefits of using the Sine Amplitude Converter (SAC™)-controlled power conversion in the very challenging application of active suspensions systems. Vicor bidirectional power modules provide symmetrical power which optimizes the regenerative capacity of power system. Also, the combination of DC-DC power converter modules and 48 V bus enable loads such as fans, pumps and motor driven loads, which usually require high currents and high power, to be easily supplied directly with energy from HV battery.
Attendees can take part in Vicor's technical presentations and stop by the Vicor exhibit booth to learn more about how power modules are used in designing a 48 V zonal architecture and high-voltage conversion throughout the vehicle.
