Power Electronics
LG Magna e-Powertrain has an inverter that efficiently controls the electric energy converted from the battery to the motor and an in-vehicle charger that supplies electricity to the battery stably and quickly based on its excellent technical capabilities and know-how in power conversion.
LG Magna e-Powertrain’s in-vehicle charger boasts high reliability and high efficiency of up to 95%. Products with output capacities of 3.6kW, 7.2kW, 11kW, and bidirectional products are being produced. In particular, through V2G technology, bidirectional in-vehicle chargers can charge cars at lower prices at night and resell power at relatively higher prices during the day, producing profits by using idle power.
This system features an integrated DC-DC converter, digital control, and bi-directional charging in a modular, customizable design for EV applications. It offers compact switching circuits and EMI filters, supports a wide AC voltage range, achieves high power density and efficiency, and enables V2L and V2G functions.

It offers motor-type optimization, automated core production, high performance, rare-earth-less solutions, and supports 48V, 400V, and 800V ranges.
