Delta Electronics, a global leader in power and energy management solutions, has announced its Electric Vehicle Communication Controller (EVCC), designed to enhance the connection between electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
The EVCC plays a crucial role in DC charging, where vehicles must communicate with both the controller and the charging pile to complete the process. In addition, for AC charging, the EVCC also enables functions such as AutoCharge and Plug and Charge, enhancing charging convenience.
In terms of performance, the EVCC operates with an input voltage range of 9 to 16 VDC and is designed to withstand harsh environments with an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. It measures 110 × 90 × 34.4 millimeters, weighs just 0.55 kilograms, and is protected to the IP67 standard, ensuring durability against dust and water. To guarantee compatibility, the controller supports major global standards including GB/T 27930, ISO 15118, SAE J 1772, and DIN 70121.
