Bourns Launches New High Inductance Common Mode Choke

Bourns releases the new Model SRF1709 High Inductance Common Mode Choke. This choke features a ferrite toroid core for low radiation and provides a high inductance of 3.5 mH with a current rating of 2.5 A. It suppresses Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) from both incoming and outgoing paths within the system, and offers an operating temperature range from –40 °C to +85 °C. These high-inductance common-mode chokes are ideal for power line noise suppression in consumer, industrial, and other electronic applications.

This choke is designed with sustainability and durability. It provides high pallet density that helps to reduce CO2 emissions during transport, making it an eco-conscious choice for logistics. The packaging is optimized for environmentally friendly handling, while corrosion-resistant materials ensure long-lasting performance. Certified under ISO 14001, it operates with low-impact energy practices, further minimizing its environmental footprint. All components are responsibly sourced and ethically produced, aligning with global sustainability goals. Additionally, this common mode choke meets the stringent requirements of EU Directive 94/62/EC, ensuring compliance with European packaging and waste standards.
