The NP08 Series from Advanced Energy Industries are Programmable AC-DC Converters that step down an AC input voltage of 90 - 264 V to a DC output voltage of 5 - 48 V. They deliver an output power of 4000 W and have an efficiency of 90%. These AC-DC converters provide high power density as either a programmable voltage or current source and can be interfaced with intuitive software and user-configurable modules to enable fast prototyping. They offer active current sharing and can be connected in series and parallel with the configurable bus bar system to enable several output combinations. These converters are certified for both industrial and medical safety approvals, including compliance with the SEMI F47 standard. They support digital communication with MODBUS RTU interface for control, monitoring, and configuration. These RoHS-compliant converters include built-in short circuit protection, over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), and over-temperature protection to prevent over-load-related damages. They have an active power factor correction while providing remote voltage sensing to ensure a power good signal for operation. These converters also include output on/off control and fan speed control to improve their overall reliability. They are available in chassis-mount packages that measure 283.4 x 203.2 x 63.5 mm.
