The TCI 500U Series from Traco Power are AC-DC Power Supplies that convert an AC input voltage of 90-264 V to a DC output voltage of 12/24/48 V. These converters also accept a DC input voltage of 127-370 V. They deliver an output power of 500 W and have an efficiency of up to 92%. These AC-DC power supplies are designed to maximize the proficiency of conduction-cooled systems and offer excellent temperature behavior when mounted on a metal chassis or baseplate. They support conduction cooling and do not require a separate fan for operation.  

These AC-DC converters are equipped with special functionalities such as active power factor correction (PFC) and excellent electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) characteristics, thereby ensuring high reliability and power delivery. They also comply with over-voltage category (OVC) III, provide a reinforced isolation of 4250 V (AC), and can operate at an altitude of up to 5000 m. These power supplies are available in Aluminum-based chassis-mount enclosures that measure 130 x 83 mm. They are ideal for industrial applications.
