The HPT5K0 series from XP Power are 5 kW AC-DC Power Supplies that convert an AC input voltage of 180-264 V to a DC output voltage of 840 V. They deliver an output power of over 5000 W and have an efficiency of up to 94%. These converters offer output voltage (0–105%) and output current programming (0–110%) via multiple digital communication protocols, including PMBus, CANopen, MODBUS and SCPI. They retain conventional alarm and control features, such as active current sharing, remote On/Off and AC/DC OK signals, to deliver a highly extensible building block for scalable industrial systems.
These converters support a graphical user interface (GUI) and have specialised connectors and safety interlocks. These converters are available in a chassis-mount that measures 330.2 x 127.0 x 127.0 mm and are ideal for a wide range of healthcare, instrumentation, process control, robotics and industrial technology applications.
