It can protect 1-cell lithium-ion / lithium polymer rechargeable battery packs from over-charge, over-discharge, and overcurrent conditions and includes high-accuracy voltage detection circuits and delay circuits. This RoHS-compliant BMIC operates over a temperature of −40°C to +85°C and is available in a surface-mount package that measures 1.80 x 1.57 mm. It is suitable for lithium-ion rechargeable battery packs and lithium polymer rechargeable battery packs.
