The S-82Y1BAB-A6T9U from ABLIC is a Battery Protection IC that has been designed for the protection of 1-cell Li-ion/ Li-Polymer rechargeable batteries. It requires an input voltage of 0.3-6 V. This battery management IC (BMIC) has a high-accuracy voltage detection circuit with an overcharge detection voltage of up to 4.8 V, an overdischarge detection voltage of to 3 V and a discharge overcurrent detection voltage of 3 mV to 100 mV. It supports battery protection from overcharge, overdischarge, and overcurrent. This BMIC consumes less than 4 µA of current during operation for high power efficiency. It uses an external overcurrent detection resistor that can be used to provide high accuracy with less impact from temperature changes. This BMIC is available in a surface-mount package that measures 1.8 x 1.60 x 0.38 mm.
