The ACS37010LLZATR-030B5 from Allegro MicroSystems is an Automotive-Qualified Current Sensor IC that senses the current flowing through the integrated package. It requires an input voltage of 5 V. This current sensor has a current measurement range from – 30 A to +30 A and a sensitivity of 66.7 mV/A. It measures the input current over a bandwidth of 450 kHz and provides an output with a response time of 1.3 µs. This AEC-Q100 Grade 0-qualified current sensor is factory-trimmed to provide a high accuracy measurement over the entire operating range, without the need for customer programming. It also supports non-ratiometric operation using a reference output to deliver enhanced accuracy in noisy environments.
This current sensor IC includes two Hall plates that sense the current differentially (differential mode) to subtract interfering common-mode magnetic fields. It does not have a physical connection to the integrated current conductor and provides an isolation voltage of 3500 V (RMS) between the primary (low resistance and power) and secondary leads of the package to ensure proper operation. This RoHS-compliant sensor is available in a surface-mount package that measures 4.89 x 6.00 mm.
