The ACS37010LLZATR-050B3 from Allegro MicroSystems is an Automotive-Grade Bidirectional DC Current Sensor IC that has been designed to sense current flowing through the package. It requires an input voltage of 3.3 V and has a current measurement range of ±50 A. This AEC-Q100 Grade 0-qualified current sensor is factory-trimmed to provide a high measurement accuracy of ±1.5% over the entire operating range, thereby eliminating the need for customer programming. Its internal construction offers high isolation of 3500 V (RMS) between the primary and secondary leads of the package and excellent magnetic coupling of the field generated by the current. This current sensor senses the current differentially using two Hall plates and then subtracts interfering common-mode magnetic fields to produce the desired output. It also has a reference pin to provide an analog output with a response time of 1.3 µs, enabling usage in noisy environments.
This RoHS-compliant current sensor IC has a low internal resistance of the primary conductor and supports a magnetic hysteresis-free operation, contributing to enhanced power efficiency and low power dissipation. It is available in a compact surface-mount package that measures 4.89 x 6 mm.
