The CT4022-A12BSN8 from Allegro MicroSystems is an Automotive-Qualified Tunnel Magnetoresistance (TMR)-based Current Sensor. It requires an input voltage of 3.3 or 5 V. This current sensor is optimized for high dV/dt applications and provides a proportional voltage to the differential magnetic field while rejecting common-mode stray magnetic fields. It has a high operating bandwidth of 500 kHz for fast control loops or where high-speed currents are monitored. This IC has a low primary conductor resistance of 1 milli-ohm for low power dissipation and high-inrush current capability. This AEC-Q100 Grade 1-qualified current sensor is available in a surface-mount package that measures 4.9 x 6 mm and is ideal for motor control, power inverters, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), switched-mode power supply (SMPS), telecom power supply, consumer, and enterprise electronics applications.
