The LF 1005-S/SP14 from LEM is a Hall Effect Current Transducer that has been designed to measure current levels of up to 1500 A. It is capable of conducting measurements with a linearity error of less than 0.1 %. This current transducer is based on the Hall Effect principle and measures current while ensuring no insertion loss over a wide bandwidth. It delivers an optimized response time with greater over-load current bearing capability, making it suitable for railway applications. This current transducer provides a galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuit. It is available in a panel-mount package that measures 78 x 78 mm and is ideal for AC variable speed drives and servo motor drives, static converters for DC motor drives, battery-supplied applications, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), power supplies for welding applications.
