The HPI-800 from Equipmake is a DC to AC Inverter designed for high-speed automotive, heavy commercial and aerospace EV applications. It requires a DC supply voltage of 400–800 V. This inverter delivers a continuous output power of up to 400 kW. It provides a peak output current of 820 A and a continuous output current of 760 A. This inverter is built based on advanced SiC inverter technology and supports switching frequencies from 1-40 kHz. It incorporates an internal DC bus capacitance of 600 µF (±10%) and supports an auxiliary supply voltage of 9–32 V, ensuring stable operation and system integration flexibility. This inverter is ISO 26262 functional safety ready (ASIL D capable), making it suitable for safety-critical electric and hybrid vehicle platforms. It features a robust water-cooled design with no oil circuit, enabling effective thermal management even under high load conditions. This inverter is rated for operation across a wide temperature range of –40°C to +85°C. It is available in a chassis-mount package that measures 494 x 287 x 94 mm.
