The MIC2585-2JYTS from Microchip Technology is a Dual-Channel Positive Voltage Hot Swap Controller that has been designed to facilitate the safe insertion of boards into live system backplanes. It requires an input voltage of 1.0 - 13.2 V. This e-Fuse IC has a programmable inrush current limiting function that uses few external discrete components and controls the gate of external N-channel MOSFETs, it limits the inrush current and provides output voltage slew rate control in harsh, critical power supply environments.
