The SDM120CT-M from Eastron Electronic is a Single-Phase Multifunction Energy Meter designed for precise energy monitoring in residential, utility, and industrial applications. It requires a nominal input voltage of 230V AC with an operational range of 176-276V. This energy meter consumes less than 2W/10VA internally and handles 50/60Hz frequencies. It measures active energy, reactive energy, power, voltage, current, power factor, frequency and supports bi-directional measurement of import and export energy, making it ideal for solar PV systems. This energy meter provides a RS485 Modbus RTU for remote communication and is equipped with two passive pulse outputs. It is provided with a white back-lighted LCD screen for perfect reading and withstands 4kV AC for 1 minute and 6kV impulse voltage. This IP51-rated energy meter is available in a DIN-rail package that measures 18 x 118 x 64 mm.
