The VCU200 from AEM Electronics is a Vehicle Control Unit that has been designed to control all critical vehicle systems such as an inverter, pre-charge resistors, high voltage contactors, DC/DC converter, onboard charger, and battery management system. It requires an input voltage of 9 - 16 V. This vehicle control unit integrates multiple high-performance components to provide advanced data acquisition and control capabilities. It includes a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyrometer to offer precise measurement of acceleration and rotational movements.

This VCU is equipped with a 10 Hz GPS and an IP67-rated antenna, ensuring accurate positioning data. It uses an 8-channel CAN interface for communication and monitoring of CAN message timeouts, thermal limits, and inverter enable cross-checks.  This control unit is highly resistant to dust and water, making it ideal for rugged environments. It is available in an IP6K7-rated package that measures 210 x 137.5 x 37.2 mm.
