The Schaeffler Engineering VCU from Schaeffler Engineering is a Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) for light- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles. It has an operating voltage range of 12 V (10-14 V) and 24 V (18-32 V). This VCU has a power consumption of up to 2 x 10 A (with load). It has dedicated programmable hardware interfaces for different types of accelerator pedals. This ISO/ CISPR 25-certified VCU offers versatile interfacing supporting digital I/Os, analog inputs, and frequency I/Os with varying characteristics and is ready to run customer application functions up to ASIL B. It comes with an integrated operating system, low-level driver, and hardware diagnostics, including fault memory, facilitating smooth deployment and monitoring of functions. This VCU is available as a module that measures 218 x 135 x 40 mm.
