The AF125 from Turntide Technologies is an EV Traction Motor that has been designed with a compact design with flat front and back faces for mounting. This electric motor delivers a peak output power of less than 100 kW and has an efficiency of up to 95%. It provides a torque of 220 Nm and has a speed of 0 - 12000 rpm. This motor has a very high power density, imparting low cogging and low ripple torque giving smooth and quiet operation in direct drive applications. It has a short motor length resulting from an axial flux design with a low inertia composite rotor and an IP67-rated shaft seals providing excellent dynamic stability. This EV motor is suitable for inverter supply voltages up to 800 VDC with a sin/cos resolver for out-of-the-box compatibility with most commercially available inverters. It requires liquid cooling using water/glycol with integrated PT100 winding temperature sensors for enhanced performance.
