The AF240 from Turntide Technologies is an EV Traction Motor that has been designed with a compact design with flat front and back faces for efficient mounting. This electric motor delivers a peak output power of less than 440 kW and has an efficiency of up to 95%.  It provides a torque of 1200 Nm and has a speed of 0 - 5000 rpm. This motor has a very high power density, which offers low cogging and low ripple torque for smooth and quiet operation in direct drive applications. It has a short motor length resulting from an axial flux design with a low inertia composite rotor and includes an IP67-rated shaft that provides excellent dynamic stability in harsh environments. This EV motor is suitable for inverter supply voltages up to 800 V(DC) and supports a sin/cos resolver for out-of-the-box compatibility with most commercially available inverters. It requires liquid cooling using water/glycol and integrates PT100 winding temperature sensors for enhanced thermal performance.
