The AF340 from Turntide Technologies is an Axial Flux Motor that has been designed for electric or hybrid vehicles and other major OEM applications. It delivers a continuous output power of 282 kW and a peak output power of 660 kW. This motor provides a torque of 780 Nm and has a speed of 5000 rpm. It weighs 122 kg. This primary powertrain traction motor has low cogging and ripple torque to provide a smooth, quiet operation in direct drive applications. It offers very high power and torque density in a compact design.

This motor provides excellent rotor dynamic stability with low-inertia composite rotors. It is suitable for inverter supply systems up to 800 V (DC) and is designed to be driven with two inverters.
