The DGT304RE13 from Dynex Semiconductor is a Gate Turn-Off Thyristor that is ideal for variable-speed AC motor drive inverters (VSD-AC), high voltage converters, choppers, welding, induction heating, DC/DC converters, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) applications. It has a break-over voltage of 1300 V and a break-over current of less than 700 A. This thyristor has a gate trigger voltage of up to 0.9 V and a gate trigger current of less than 1.0 A. It offers a high voltage and surge current handling capability. This gate turn-off thyristor provides double-side cooling to maintain a stable temperature with low noise emission that reduces acoustic cladding for various environmental requirements. It also ensures fault protection while eliminating the need for fuses and guarantees high reliability. The thyristor is available in a disc package that measures 42 x 15 mm.
