The SG326 from Ametherm is an In-Rush Current Limiter that has been designed to suppress high in-rush current surges when power is applied to a system. It has an AC voltage rating of 120 V (RMS) and a current rating of 30 A. This current limiter has a resistance of 0.5 ohms. It lowers rectifier cost by reducing the required peak forward surge current rating, reduces noise and fuse failures, and offers high current capacity.
