The CL-11 from Amphenol Advanced Sensors is a Solid-State Negative Temperature Coefficient Thermistor that has been designed to control and limit the in-rush current in switching power supplies, fluorescent lamps, inverters, motors, and other industrial applications. It has a current rating (RMS) of up to 12 A and a resistance of 0.7 ohms. This low-cost UL 1434-flame retardant thermistor consists of a disc thermistor with uninsulated lead wires and has a small physical size that offers design-in benefits over larger passive components. It also offers best-in-class capacitance ratings, excellent mechanical strength, low steady resistance, and accompanying power loss. This low-cost thermistor is available in a through-hole package that measures 19.56 x 5.59 mm.
